CINA promotes and support universal primary education for children affected by conflicts and disasters through girls’ capitation fees, teacher development and quality education, school PTA/SMC development, food for education (school feeding program); alternative learning programs for youth and women; as well as supporting non-formal education through Technical Vocational and Education Training (TVET) for youth and families. To safeguard against child abuse and exploitation in schools, CINA supports adherence to school child safeguarding policy and integration of life skills development for adolescents, psychosocial support and child protection help desks into education program.
