Prevent malnutrition through emergency food distribution, diseases prevention, and behaviour change communication to pregnant/lactating mothers and families affected by conflicts and disasters. Respond to acute malnutrition through running of community therapeutic feeding programs and stabilization centres for malnourished children. Support agricultural food production and livelihood resilience for self-reliance through provision of seeds, farm tools, building of farmers’ capacity (demos farms), development of community livelihood initiatives such as ‘Village Banks’ (village savings & loans associations), food processing, fish processing, beekeeping, milk processing, hides & skins processing, as well as supporting farmers’ cooperative groups through maintainance of tractors, and preposition of fuel, food storage facilities, linkages to markets and provision of food for assets .
